Cumulant generating functions of a tracer in quenched dense symmetric exclusion processes

چکیده

The Symmetric Exclusion Process (SEP), where particles hop on a 1D lattice with the restriction that there can only be one particle per site, is paradigmatic model of interacting systems. Recently, it has been shown nature initial conditions - annealed or quenched quantitative impact long-time properties tracer diffusion. However, so far, all studies in case focused low-density limit SEP. Here, we derive cumulant generating function position dense conditions. Importantly, our approach also allows us to consider nonequilibrium situations (i) biased SEP and (ii) symmetric step density. In former situation, show have striking impact, change very dependence cumulants bias.

a contrastive study of rhetorical functions of citation in iranian and international elt scopus journals

writing an academic article requires the researchers to provide support for their works by learning how to cite the works of others. various studies regarding the analysis of citation in m.a theses have been done, while little work has been done on comparison of citations among elt scopus journal articles, and so the dearth of research in this area demands for further investigation into citatio...

Gaussian estimates for symmetric simple exclusion processes

2014 We prove Gaussian tail estimates for the transition probability of n particles evolving as symmetric exclusion processes on Zd, improving results obtained in [9]. We derive from this result a non-equilibrium Boltzmann-Gibbs principle for the symmetric simple exclusion process in dimension 1 starting from a product measure with slowly varying parameter. RÉSUMÉ. 2014 We prove Gaussian tail e...

Approximate Inclusion - Exclusion for Arbitrary Symmetric Functions ∗

Let A 1 , A 2 ,. .. , A n be events in some probability space. The approximate inclusion-exclusion problem, due to Linial and Nisan (1990), is to estimate Pr[A 1 ∪· · ·∪A n ] given Pr[ i∈S A i ] for all |S | k. Kahn et al. (1996) solve this problem optimally for each k. We study the following more general question: given Pr[ i∈S A i ] for all |S | k, estimate Pr the number of events among A 1 ,...

On composition of generating functions

In this work we study numbers and polynomials generated by two type of composition of generating functions and get their explicit formulae. Furthermore we state an improvementof the composita formulae's given in [6] and [3], using the new composita formula's we construct a variety of combinatorics identities. This study go alone to dene new family of generalized Bernoulli polynomials which incl...

Lattice Point Generating Functions and Symmetric Cones

Abstract. We show that a recent identity of Beck–Gessel–Lee–Savage on the generating function of symmetrically contrained compositions of integers generalizes naturally to a family of convex polyhedral cones that are invariant under the action of a finite reflection group. We obtain general expressions for the multivariate generating functions of such cones, and work out their general form more...
